Integrity

I removed the past two posts after a friend cautioned me not to become like others in ministries that turn their platforms of communication into fund raising campaigns. Bottom line, the ministry is in need of funds, but that is not my purpose or focus. God knows what we need and what we do. I thank God that he brings people into my life to keep me balanced and focused. So, if you read the last two posts, I apologize for getting off message. My message is simple: God's love is the passage to freedom. Overcoming evil with good is how the pain of life changes into something beyond it. Peace is not a slogan, it is my heart's desire.

God is peace. Thanks for always showing me that. Your finances are always in my prayers. I cannot believe the man I am from where I came from because of God's passage to freedom, love. Be good to yourself Sallie. Please take time for yourself.

Hey Sallie,
I think the thing that makes you so effective in your ministry is the fact that you are real. You have taught me that real is what people need - what they are looking for! Part of being real is listening to God, yourself, and others and being able to change if need be. Not only changing, but owning your stuff. I know that God knows your heart! So many lives have been touched because of what you do - being faithful, trusting God, being real, and helping people on a hard journey!
Thank you for being real (and by the way, you can still be the Queen of the Universe)

Just like Derek said - I too cannot believe the woman I am compared to where I came from!!! The tools I learned at the retreat have helped me tremendously!

I am not only praying for CTF's finances, but am brainstorming for fund-raising ideas. I am encouraging others to do the same. Let's go big - Oprah, The View, a concert, golf tournament - can't all of us that have been touched by this ministry put our heads together and think of something?...someone has to know someone...someone has to have connections....So, here is my request to all of those who are reading this - let's find a way to support Committed to Freedom!

Love you Sallie! Take care of you and I am looking forward to see how God is going to bless CTF! I am believin'!

Sallie, I am always praying for your comfort and strength here in NYC. What a timely gift from above when I arrived in this city and heard of the CTF retreat nearly four years ago... The "Gems From the Vine" fellowship group for women here is "fruit" from your hearts desire, unwavering commitment and life-anointing. Looking forward to our paths crossing again. Until then, peace and love to you. Warmly, Arlene (ps 30: 11-12)
