House Cleaning
I spent an entire day cleaning out one room and I'm still not finished yet! Actually, at this stage, it's a bigger mess than it was before I began. I pulled everything out of drawers and closets, rearranged furniture, and put stuff in big piles to go through. Isn't it interesting that when you begin to get stuff cleaned and in order - really clean, not superficial dusting - it's a big mess at first! Hmmm.www.committedtofreedom.org

What I have seen in this house cleaning mess is that after you've cleaned out all the drawers, closets etc and made even a bigger mess than you started with. You are given the opportunity, if willing to be patient with the process to look at each thing in the mountian of "stuff" and make some real choices. Like the stuff you look at and wonder why did I hang on to that, so you throw it away or the stuff that shows you where you've been and how far you've come, I'd keep a few of those safe in a box just to look at and remind myself when necessary. Then there are things that because they were put in the closet and forgotten they have grown dim and tarnished. You look at them and say wow and wonder why that was hidden away. Those things you keep out, polish, renew and put them back to good use. Life's like that and the adventure of house cleaning can always bring growth IF we will just be patient with the process!!!
